The photo pictured is said to have been his family owned butcher shop! From what we hear is that he was a backwoods expert on curing all types of meat! He was known to travel to the Southern part of the state in the area of Brown County!
He went there because in central Indiana there were not as many hollers or hills which claimed other species of game! Anyway he was able to build a reputation with the locals and Indians as a fare and decent man! With skills of the east and
his own inventiveness he was able to carve out his own little niche in the wilderness and created his own methods of butchering and curing the different types of meat and poultry that people sought from him for there table! One of the things he was most noted for was his beef jerkey! We don't know if he was a rich man but he was rich in talent we have heard! Bobby made some of the best Beef Jerky and other type of jerky around! We have a catalog of these recipes now available to test and try! The first is the beef jerky everyone that tries it can not get enough of it! Who knows Bobby may have sold or traded jerky to the Indians of Indiana! Maybe Daniel Boone and his men tried this jerky, or even Abe Lincoln and other famous travelers right from his little butcher shop!

Now about the jerky itself! We have duplicated the original recipe with modern methods! It is a medium to hot recicpe that most anyone can palette! The most we have heard is that some eat more than they maybe should and have a bit of a stomach ache from to much red pepper! Anyway we have not had any complaints its so dag gone good that many feel addiction to the Jerky! We have heard a few dog lovers have even tested it on mans best friend with out any adverse affects! So anyway we can't give away the recipe but it is made of the leanest of beef and the red pepper is garden grown and dehydrated with other natural spices added!
